The Teen Venture Center is located in Richlands, Virginia, and serves youth in Tazewell, Russell, and Buchanan counties.
Teen Venture is a 501 (C)(3) charitable organization that was incorporated in 2001 by a group of business, educators, ministers, and elected officials in an effort to break the cycle of alarming school dropout rates, alcohol and drug abuse, and the lack of youth involvement within the community.

Our membership includes students who are in sixth-grade through age 18 and who are enrolled in middle school or high school.

What We Offer

Rock Climbing
A fully implemented, thirty foot rock climbing wall complete with safety equipment where our volunteers can teach our youth how to climb, repel and excel through four different difficulties of climbing regiments.

Skate Park
The center features a 5200 sq. ft. indoor skate park with graduated beginner to advanced level elements for skate board, inline skate and BMX bikes which includes several vert ramps.

Radio Broadcast
A control booth featuring 3 monitors, 2 computers,a mixing station, two amps and four microphones for remote radio broadcasting and student D.J. crew production.

Music Studio
A full music production studio with 4 amps,a drum kit, 2 keyboards, 8 microphone outputs and an apple computer equip with software to allow you to create a digital copy of anything you create live.

Art Studio
The Art studio includes a pottery wheel, full sized kiln and an array of equipment to turn any idea you have into a reality to share with your friends, family and peers. Draw, paint, craft and design all in one place!
